If you’ve happily organised your own wedding day and don’t want a “wedding planner” service as such, then think how lovely it would be to have someone available on the day to co-ordinate everything for you, just how you planned it. From ensuring all your suppliers are where they should be and providing what you booked, to making sure all your guests are happy and being looked after by caterers, etc, to keeping everything on schedule of the day, to generally keeping eyes and ears open for any issues or unforeseen problems.
Having recently married myself, I know just how hectic it is on your special day and how the time runs away with you; you’re pulled from every angle trying to co-ordinate and make sure your own day is truly happy. I’m happy to assist from buttoning up your bridemaids’ dresses, to ensuring the videographer and photographer are fed, that the cake has arrived, to that the first dance happens at 7 o’clock, and other countless number of services.
I would arrange meeting before the wedding to run through the schedule of the day and all the elements you have so carefully planned and then on the day would be available from the “getting ready” through to the first dance, leaving you and your new husband or wife to dance the night away.
Likewise for corporate/charity event organisers that need a on the day “runner” to provide backup and support to the technical team. I’m good at handling clients and working within a team.
